Patagonia Underwear

More than just a clothing company, Patagonia is quite possibly one of the most ecologically minded manufacturers of men's underwear on the market. With a business motto that includes the commitment to use their influence to "inspire solutions to the environmental crisis", Patagonia skivvies are unmentionables with a conscience. A very stylish conscience, that is. Because there is no denying the fact that these are some good looking boxers and briefs.

So, if you needed a reason to go shopping for comfortable, attractive men's underwear, we're about to give you three:

Patagonia: Earth Minded Underwear

First, there's Patagonia's Common Threads garment recycling program. Launched in 2005, this innovative system lets customers return their used and worn out clothing and underwear, which they then use to create new clothes. Yep, that's right. Patagonia will actually take your threadbare underpants and turn it into a new sweater! (One that you can hopefully purchase… perhaps for your mother in law?)

Then there's Patagonia's 1% for the Planet program. Since 1985, the men's underwear giant has donated 1% of their sales to the preservation and restoration of the environment. For those of you keeping track, that's over 31 million bucks. (And a whole lot of boxer briefs)

Of course, there's also the Concervacion Patagoncia. 16 hours from the company's headquarters in Ventura, California is their namesake- Patagonia, on the southern tip of Chile. Here, some of Patagonia's employees are donating their time to one of the clothing maker's most ambitious projects: the development of a 173,000 acre national park.

Buy with confidence, my friend. Those great fitting, color saturated, flattering boxers, briefs, and trunks are more than just fashionable. They're the epitome of eco friendly men's underwear. So, the next time some one asks you what you're doing for the environment, pull down your pants, and show off your Patagonias.
